The W. M. Piatt Building, Durham, NC

Remodeled in the 80’s for an engineering firm, the W.M. Piatt building in Durham, NC was showing its age.  The modified EIFS system had deteriorated beyond repair and the stucco system was in serious need of fixing.

The Sto reStore system was the solution for Trosa, the current owner. The existing EIFS system was removed and replace with a Sto Essence Barrier system, masonry pilasters were repaired with Sto concrete restoration materials and the stucco system was recoated with a Sto elastomeric coating, giving new life to the old building.
